High Dynamic Range CMOS Image Sensor Technologies

This paper describes high dynamic range CMOS image sensor technologies and key technical topics, (1) A multiple-CG (conversion gain) sensor technology, (2) “LOFIC” technology to accumulate and readout overflow charge, (3) 3Q-DPS (Triple quantization digital pixel sensor) technology to realize low power and very high dynamic range global shutter image sensors.
